Up Close & Personal

During a visit from Grandpa & Grandma Sieb, we went to the Reston Zoo. It's a small zoo where you can get up close and personal with the animals. Elijah was a bit more timid (you'll notice the lack of photos that include him), but Adriana and Isaiah were crazy about the interaction.
Anyone who knows my husband well will be impressed with this next picture. Yes, he is actually voluntarily touching an animal...

While I love animals, I'm not that into birds; so I was a bit uncomfortable with the proximity of this ostrich...

On the other hand, Grandpa had no problem...

The camel was the most fun...

    Looks like fun! I wouldn't want to be that close to an ostrich either. And wow, Steven's dad and the camel look like best buds.
